Stages of creating the
Abstract Birds

"Abstract Birds" is a series of photographs based on abstractions seen on the surface of outerwear.
Each abstraction represents one of 8 birds, all of which are endangered species. This project was created to draw attention to the problem of bird extinction.
The inspiration for the images came from the personal characteristics of each bird and their habitat.
First step:
Creating abstractions on paper and supplementing them with dotted lines that allow the viewer to understand the artist's intent, or rather to come closer to understanding how these abstractions fit the bird theme.
Second step:
Creating clothing designs, making moodboards and directly producing the pieces of clothing.
Applying the final decorations, the abstractions themselves, to the finished costumes.

Step Three:
Choosing locations, shooting, post-processing, printing and presentation.
